Foundations of Sleep & Circadian Biology
Description: Sleep is a vital component to daily routines, function and overall health. One-third of our lives is spent in the space of rest, dreams and cycles. This webinar will provide an overview of the neurophysiology underpinning the different sleep-wake states. In addition, there will be a discussion of circadian rhythms, and the role the circadian clock plays in regulating sleep-wake timing, as well as other physiological processes.
