An interdisciplinary, collaborative team — All team members are pediatric specialists in their respective disciplines. Interdisciplinary pediatric clinics — Our pediatric teams also collaborate with other specialty pediatric physicians, including neurologists, neurosurgeons, orthopedists, hematology oncologists, pulmonologists and urologists, among others.
All care teams are led by Pediatric board-certified physicians.
All pediatric therapists are experts in treating pediatric and neurological conditions and collaborating with families to develop and target goals most meaningful for each child. Many of our therapists have achieved the highest level of certification in specific treatment areas, including Pediatric PT Specialists, Oncology PT Specialists, Certified Brain Injury Specialists (CBIS), Sensory-Based Feeding Specialists.
Continuum of care for spina bifida and cerebral palsy patients — We coordinate care for children and teens with spina bifida who have complex conditions of the spine, spinal cord, brain, bowel and bladder. Our services and resources are designed to help individuals with spina bifida or cerebral palsy as they transition from pediatric care to adult care.
We have developed a first-ever and unique approach to ventilator-weaning —Vent Liberation. Our specialists in respiratory therapy and rehabilitation collaborate in using assessments and applying treatment strategies specifically geared toward retraining muscles of respiration. The goal is to maximize success with weaning patients off of a ventilator.
Our Nursing Team has achieved 4X in a row, a distinction for nursingexcellence held by only 2% of all U.S. hospitals. Our pediatric nurses are specialists.
