Individualized training is offered through our Functional Fitness Program, where members work one-on-one with one of our exercise physiologists to advance and maintain their functional goals. In addition, our staff can help you improve your gait and balance through Lokomat and AlterG treadmill training.
Telefitness is a one-on-one interactive virtual exercise program for individuals looking to maximize their functional fitness and training outcomes under the guidance and care of one of our expert Exercise Physiologists. The program is designed to help increase motivation, and activity, improve physical ability and enhance personal fitness goals from the comfort of your home.
Group Classes – Whether you are looking to improve your balance, strengthen your core, build endurance or maximize your overall health and well-being the expert staff at the Shirley Ryan 小恩雅 Adaptive Fitness Center offers participants diagnosis-specific and general group classes:
- Classes specific for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease
- Parkinson’s disease PWR in-person class Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays 9:45–10:30 am
- Parkinson’s disease virtual class Tuesdays and Thursdays 10–10:45 am
- Proactive Parkinson’s Disease Exercise Program Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:15–9:00 am
- Boxing for Individuals with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) 2–2:45 pm
- Pulmonary Phase III Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:45–11:45 am, 1–2 pm, 2–3 pm
- Nordic Walking (Seasonal May-September) Thursdays 9–9:45 am
- Adaptive Pilates Tuesdays 2–2:45 pm

Are you a current member?

If you've already paid the $45 one-time registration fee as a current member, you qualify for our free Physical Function and Balance Assessments. Whether you're a seasoned gym-goer or just starting your fitness journey, these assessments are tailored to benefit individuals of all ability levels.
In assessments, we will:
- Evaluate various aspects of your physical function such as your ability to lift and carry objects, transfer on and off the ground with or without help and both pushing and pulling strength.
- Help you gain insights into areas needing attention.
- Develop a personalized progressive resistance training program focusing on these aspects. This program is designed to:
- Promote your functional fitness to improve your quality of life.
- Improve your bone density to promote healthy aging and prevent falls.
Post-assessment results have proven to be instrumental in helping participants improve stability, refine workouts and enhance overall performance.
