In assessments, we will:

  • Evaluate various aspects of your physical function such as your ability to lift and carry objects, transfer on and off the ground with or without help and both pushing and pulling strength.
  • Help you gain insights into areas needing attention.
  • Develop a personalized progressive resistance training program focusing on these aspects. This program is designed to:
    • Promote your functional fitness to improve your quality of life.
    • Improve your bone density to promote healthy aging and prevent falls.

Post-assessment results have proven to be instrumental in helping participants improve stability, refine workouts and enhance overall performance. Current members can book their free assessments with Maggie King at mking03@sralab.org or, contact the Adaptive Sports and Fitness Center at 312.238.5001 to become a member.
