About Me

Mr. McGovern has been in in clinical practice for over thirty years specializing in the provision of orthoses to the pediatric population. He have lectured many times locally, nationally, and internationally on a variety of orthotic topics. More recently, in clinical practice he has utilized segmental kinematics for AFO alignment as taught by Elaine Owen, MSc, SRP, MCSP. He has participated as a co-investigator and research orthotist on two funded pilot pediatric orthotic projects in cooperation with Northwestern University.
